I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome when I was 12. I'm now 21 and not even an A cup. I can't seem to lose weight I eat healthy and work out. Could I get my "backfat" and stomach fat transferred to my chest? If so approximately how much would it cost me?
Answer: Breast Fat Transfer in Flat Chested Person Depending upon how tight your breast tissues are, you may need pre-expansion using the Brava device. Since you have PCOS which could mean that you could have insulin resistance, you will need enhancement of your fat cells with the stromal vascular fraction in the fat to help with revascularization and therefore better take of your fat cells. These extra procedures will add to your cost, but they are necessary to insure success. It is difficult to give a cost estimate without seeing you.

Answer: Fat transfers The holy grail of breast augmentation will be fat transfers of the type you mention. Unfortunately, here in America in the year 2015, we aren't there yet. Fat is great for small jobs like filling out defects after breast reconstruction or filling some facial lines. Its being tried for buttock augmentation and some patients have great results, most have modest results or no improvement. There's a lot we don't understand about transferring fat and having it live. So...for the immediate future, an implant is, for you, a much better option.

Answer: Flat chest and weight struggles. With your underlying medical issues it might be a challenge to transfer enough fat to give you a decent appearance. I am a certified nutritional and wellness consultant as well as a board certified plastic surgeon. I utilize a three-pronged weight management system in my office that is natural, efficient, affordable and most importantly, sustainable. I would be happy to address your concerns for weight and breast issues in a personal consultation.

Answer: Dr Kayser Thanks for your question. Of course you can have fat transferred to your breasts! Depending on your desired size, expectations and soft tissue envelope you may need BRAVA or more than one procedure but fat is natural, yours and once integrated, has the potential to last a lifetime. You will need to be evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon, however. I hope this helps and have a wonderful day. Dr Kayser - Detroit
