Hi, I've been looking into the stem cell/fat grafting procedure hoping to transfer fat to my small B-cup breasts. The problem is that I am slim. I'm hesitant to take fat from my butt or thighs because I they are small already. Can fat cells that are extracted from the body be replicated/duplicated/increased in some way before being injected into the breasts, so that someone without a lot of body fat like me can achieve fuller breasts through the stem cell/fat grafting procedure? Thanks in advance!
Answer: Fat transfer Thanks for the question, that is not currently being done in clinical practice. For slim patients the option is to do lipo from lots of areas (arms, abdomen, wasit, hips, inner and outer thighs) and possible even do it twice to get enough fat or use a small implant for some baseline volume and add fat on top (this is actually a more predicatble way to get a good result in really skinny people)

CONTACT NOW Answer: Fat Cells Thank you for your question. This is an area just emerging, and you would not have long term studies to support outcomes. Yes, there may be benefit with stem cell research, but that area of science is not mature, so a risk is present of a "minimal result" outcome. I just recommend silicone gel implants to thin body types, and then I know they will get the size they desire. With fat, the risks are definitely higher. I hope this helps!

Answer: Fat Cell Replication for Slim Patients You have a great idea that may become a reality in the future. Presently, you can culture and replicate fat cells in a specialized cell laboratory. The fat cells can be induced by various induction agents to multiply, but these cells have never been used in a clinical setting yet. The FDA has very strict control over any devices that do cellular "manipulation" such as cloning of cells. The basis for this type of tissue engineering is possible in the laboratory, but many hurdles need to be overcome both politically and scientifically for it to become a reality. On the other hand, if you think you have no spare fat tissue to be harvested, don't force it. You don't want to create any deformity from over liposuction in order to get fat for your breasts. If you are not sure, you could be further evaluated. I have taken fat from slim patients from multiple sites such as thighs, knees, back of arms in order to get fat for the breasts.

Answer: Fat grafting for breasts Thank you for asking. This is possible but it will require a formal consultation in person with a plastic surgeon to discuss your specifics. Some patients may opt to gain weight for harvest purposes. Talk with your local PS. Best wishes

Answer: Fat transfer Unfortunately science has not progressed to the point of duplicating your cells in a controlled fashion for fat grafting. If you do not have enough fat for transfer, you might want to consider breast implants.
