I went to see Dr. Lee on my birthday this year for the first time. I was so anxious bc I wanted basically a new body. My first consult was so informative and gentle I was set with him in my mind before I walked out of his office. He explained to me why my body looked a certain way in this area and that one and so on. I told him I wanted a butt, bc i was pretty flat back there. I also wanted a transfer to my breast to make my breasts more semitrical. He listened and and delivered. I look amazing, and my results so far are so natural looking, noone would be able to tell I did anything. His bed side manner was beyond perfect. Any worry, any question he answered. My personality type is also slightly over the top and he laughed at all my ridiculous jokes and never made me feel like I was too much. His nursing staff are out of this world too. Dawn is such a patient soul and she will make jokes right back at you. This is one office I will be returning to.
I decided to get liposuction after having my son and not being satisfied with my midsection. I am from Fort Wayne and knew i wanted to stay close to home to get my procedure. A lot of women travel to Miami or somewhere in Florida for their surgery but that just was not practical for me. I have a one year old son and just didn’t have that support to be able to do something like that. I did my research and found Dr. Lee. I was a bit skeptical because he doesn’t have tons of reviews and i personally do not know anyone who has had this procedure. I went in for my consultation and was blown away by his beautiful office and friendly staff. I met with him and talked to him about my desires and let him no i wanted a realistic look but an hour glass figure. At first i just wanted my stomach and done but after talking to him we decided the best treatment would be lipo 360. This means he would lipo my upper and lower abdomen, my entire back, as well as my sides. The pricing was over how much i wanted to spend but i knew it would be worth it and i did not want to sacrifice my results over a couple thousand dollars. I scheduled my procedure for May 2 and was worried myself crazy with everything that could go wrong. On the day of my procedure i went to the outpatient center. The whole staff was very nice and supportive. My mom and my son came with me and they made sure to accommodate them and even played with my 1 year old to keep him busy. I only seen Dr. Lee briefly for him to mark me up but he told me to rest assure everything will be okay. Even the anesthesiologist came by and called my nerves while making a few jokes! I woke up in so much pain it felt like i had another c section! While i was recovering Dr. explained all the post op and told her everything went well and i should be pleased with my results. The procedure itself was only about 2 hours and I was in and out in 6 hours. Today I am six days post op and i feel like a stuffed turkey. I am soooo swollen it’s ridiculous. My skin is tight. I’m stuffed in this garment and binder. I still struggle to get out of my bed, on top of taking care of a little toddler. I can’t see my result just yet because I am so swollen but i can see the start of an hourglass figure. I will continue to update with my progress!
From the first consultation I felt very comfortable with Dr. Lee. He is very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Great staff and atmosphere. Any future procedures he will definitely be my doctor of choice and my recommendation for my family and friends.
I’ve been going to Dr. Lee for over 20 years I’m 70 now I just had him perform a mini facelift for me 4 weeks ago It’s taken ten years off of me He’s always professional and makes you look like yourself not those LA housewives faces with puffy lips and walnuts for cheekbones I would recommend him to anyone
My experience with Dr. Lee was great. I went in for a consult for Abdominoplasty/Lipo and he & his nurse Dawn answered all of my questions with such compassion. Dr. Lee made me feel comfortable and confident. My surgery went smoothly, the staff at the surgery center could not have been more talented, fun and helpful. Dr. Lee gives his patients a gift bag after surgery with a very nice note, relaxing candle and a homeopathic medicine to help with bruising and swelling. The entire process is very thought out and they truly treat you as a friend. Could not have envisioned this to be such a great experience!
49 year old Had a face and neck lift, eye lids, CO2 laser, and fat transfer. The laser was rough but it was worth it. Day 2/3 are the worse. It feels like your whole face was super glued. You will love the results. Lost my freckles and age spots and have brand new baby skin. Could not be happier. My family and friends can't believe the difference.
So I've always wanted to have a bigger butt... When I was in elementary I would wear 7 underwear a at once to make it look bigger... I work at a bar so when I started working there I wore the underwear that had padded buttocks. So I finally showed my mom my vagina where my lips dangle... I know it's embarrassing... But everyone has their own problems no ones perfect. So once I showed my mom in July she said maybe I should get that checked out. I went to dr Brian lee in Fort Wayne Indiana. My consultation was $50. Let me remind you I don't have health insurance. So I went to my consultation told him everything and I'm pretty sure they didn't take me seriously that I would actually come back and pay for the two surgeries to be done. Well I did. After I told my mom the cost she was like okay fine schedule your day. So I had my consultation in August and scheduled my surgery for September 17th. I didn't tell my mom about the fat transfer from my planks and love handles to my butt... I was so nervous.... I had my surgery yesterday.& thought maybe I should share my story to help others decide if they wish to continue or not. Well my surgery went really good and my boyfriend took me so my mom never knew about the butt injections until I got home and she came to my house to see how I was doing... Then I told her because she would eventually find out. She wasn't mad and wanted to see how mine turned out because flat butts run in the family. Today is the 18th and I woke up feeling some pain where they took the fat. I've actually been sleeping pretty good and going pee good. I keep peeing on my garment so I started to pee standing up in the tub. Tomorrow morning I get to shower. I'm so excited. I plan to update this more every day or week along with pictures. Feel free to ask questions. Updated on 19 Sep 2015: I woke up this morning feeling the usual tightness in my lower back when I slowly got out of bed. I took the trash out, let my dog out, started a load of dishes, took my Sinecch pill along with a packet that goes in my water. After I got all of that done I told my boyfriend I was ready to shower. We prepped the shower and got everything set up so I could get in and get out. After taking my garment off my boyfriend was astonished on how good my butt looked and that it now jiggles when I walk. I got in the shower and took off my incision patches. I started to get light headed in the shower and cleaned the incision areas and just rinsed everything else off. It took us a minute to get my garement back on... I'm worried that I don't have it placed right and that it'll ruin everything. Otherwise I'm happy with the way things went this morning. I had my boyfriend take some pictures but they don't do it justice at all. Updated on 20 Sep 2015: Today I took yet another shower, went to Johnny Appleseed up town for a hour, rode home in the passenger seat sitting on my butt... which I was extremely hesitant about but I did it anyways. For the most part I feel good but when I go to shower I get light headed and dizzy. Also part of me feels like I'm rushing myself to heal too fast. Updated on 23 Sep 2015:
Dr. Lee is an absolute artist. Not only does he assure you through the process, he is very detail oriented. If I can offer any advice to future patients of Dr. Lee, TRUST HIM! He had some ideas of his own and I sort of let him take the reigns and boy am I happy I did! WONDERFUL work! I feel perfect!
I am currently at day 4 post op. 6 lbs was removed around mid section. The pain and discomfort was a lot less than I thought. I appear very square around my mid section and my backside is very flat which is concerning but just trying to keep in perspective I am only 4 days out and swelling is a factor. Updated on 30 Aug 2014: Feeling really well drains came out yesterday. Everything looks a little squarish in my torso but doctor said wait until 6 weeks out for shape to settle and swelling to go down Updated on 1 Sep 2014: I am nervous about going back to work tomorrow. My co-workers are not very supportive. My husband works at the same company and one of my co-workers asked him was I vain since I have been out. Gonna post a pic of my gut in clothes before surgery and one I took the other day in a dressing room just recently. The doctor only took 6 lbs but it looks like I have lost 20 lbs. So I am sure people will notice at work and comment. Just hope I don't feel like I have to defend my decisions. Updated on 1 Sep 2014: Updated on 14 Sep 2014: Here are my scars at day 24. Some of my skins looks a little dark and red but could be due to chaffing from compression binder 24/7 Updated on 14 Sep 2014:
My first surgery was a breast augmentation last March. I couldn't be happier with my results and everything healed perfectly. I had a tummy tuck November 8, 2013 and today is day 2 post op and I'm feeling great. I got a sneak peek after my shower and everything is looking very good. Surprisingly, the pain is a lot less than when I had my breast aug. I can't wait to really see what my incision looks like! Updated on 11 Nov 2013: My pain has been very minimal. Looking forward to my swelling going down so I have a better idea of what things will look like. Updated on 12 Nov 2013: Today I am feeling really good. It has been a lot easier getting up and down and my pain is minimal. I have majorly cut back on my pain meds. The most bothersome part for me would have to be the drains. They aren't filling too much and my post-op apt is tomorrow so I'm crossing my fingers that I get them out. My scar is just at my pubic hairline but goes up a little higher than I had expected on my hips. I prefer low rise jeans, bikini's, etc so hoping that when the swelling goes down that the scar will adjust. I also feel like my belly button looks a little low but overall I'm very happy I went through with the surgery. Updated on 12 Nov 2013: Updated on 24 Nov 2013: It has been a very long time since I've updated and today I hope to add some photos. Overall everything has been going pretty good. Last week I overdid it and went to pick my 2 and 4 year old up at preschool and the teacher handed me my daughter to carry to the car. My hubby put them into the car in the morning when I took them but I had yet to lift her at all and was planning on letting her crawl up. Well, I didn't put her down and carried her to the car. I had been feeling better before then and honestly it was uncomfortable but I didn't feel like I did any harm. Later that day, the same lil 2 year old was fighting her nap and wouldn't walk herself upstairs so I had to kind of help her along and then was so tired and frustrated that I just lifted her and put her in her bed and let her throw her fit. After that moment, I was in agony and had to spend the rest of the day on the couch. I didn't call the dr. which I regret but I figured I had just overdone it and resting would mend it all. I know feel this weird indent right undr my chest and then can feel my stitches from my muscle repair. I'm not sure if that was there before or not. Well I haven't been seen by my doctor since post op day 5 where he removed my first drain (wed). He told me if by Friday the second one was steadily low I could come in Friday and have it removed. It was and I went in and the nurse removed it. I had a scheduled apt for Monday that I made when I had left Wed but when I called Monday they said since my drain came out friday there was no need to be seen that day. She then said the next time he'd need to seem me would be at 5 weeks. I was hesitant that that sounded like an awfully long time from post op day 5 to then but didn't say anything. Is this normal and how often have you all been seen post op?? I had been taking it easy up until yesterday. My best friend and all the bridesmaids were making a trip to Michigan to go dress shopping and go to some wineries. I was feeling up to it and didn't want to disappoint the bride who would have been more than understanding. I went and there was a lot of in and out of the car and I came home last night in complete pain and haven't been that swollen since maybe the 2nd day after my surgery. I'm resting now and swelling has gone down but I am calling tomorrow to ask to be seen. I think waiting until week 5 is crazy. So there you have it :) Pheeew that was wordy. I will add some photos of my progression. Updated on 24 Nov 2013: Some pictures Updated on 24 Nov 2013: probably out of order and don't have patience to figure it out Updated on 24 Nov 2013: pics Updated on 24 Nov 2013: pics Updated on 24 Nov 2013: I will now do a better job of documenting my pics in order :) For some reason my photo captions aren't showing up. Updated on 6 Feb 2014: It will be 13 weeks tomorrow. I haven't updated in awhile. I'm up 10 lbs thanks to the holiday's and my love for comfort food on these cold winter days....so depressing.) I'm back to clean eating and working out as summer will be here before we know it. Here are a couple pics. The skin around my belly button seems to be loosening up and revealing stretch marks that are beginning to depress me. My belly button is slowly starting to look more like a belly button but still has some sinking in to do. At least I'm hoping for that. :)
It is best to discuss with your surgeon.I give my patients the dosage I recommend complimentary in a post operative box as I believe there are many natural substances that help healing that traditional medicine has not yet embraced.
The studies show no difference in results in the composite lift vs a SMAS lift, except there is more swelling and longer healing with the composite lift. The lateral sweep you mentioned is from pulling the superficial tissue back and up without addressing the deeper tissue. This gives an unnatural look. I would recommend seeking a surgeon with years of experience to get the most natural look after your surgery.
Based solely on your photos you appear to be a very good candidate for a tummy tuck, liposuction of the flanks and a Brazilian Butt Lift. This should reshape your midsection nicely. Good luck.
Typically the differences in these three types of facelift are the the degree of undermining (lifting up the skin), the amount of work performed on the deeper tissue and the area of the face being addressed. As the name implies, a "Mini-facelift" has minimal amount of undermining and deep work and helps to lift the lower face/jawline, but not the neck or central cheek. A "Facelift" can be a variety of degrees, but usually addresses the cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and sometimes into the neck.A "Midface lift" only addresses the vertical descent of the central and middle cheek without the jawline.
In most cases the swelling from a facelift should be completely subsided in 3-6 months after the surgery. Much of this dissipates in the first couple weeks so you can return to most social functions, but the healing continues for several months. I always suggest to my patients that they plan for the longer time to be on the safe side.
