Does HCTZ affect Lipo swelling?

Thank you for your question.  HCTZ will not impact the swelling after liposuction in either a positive or negative manner.  Hope that this helps. 

Your medication should not impact your swelling.   Swelling is your body's response to the surgical procedure and will take time to settle.

Hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic, will not really help swelling after liposuction surgery.Compression garments and time will help.
