Is it normal to develop a hard tiny ball on my waist right side after Liposuction? (photos)

You can get swelling and irritation/bruising post liposuction.  I suggest following your post operative instructions.  In my practice we do massage, RF treatments and hyperbaric oxygen.  Best, Dr. Emer.

This lump is probably a small hematoma or blood clot that is residual from the liposuction.  This is a common occurrence and should resolve with time.  Make sure you have it checked out by your plastic surgeon.

Hi,Lumps and bumps and very normal after liposuction- pretty much the rule.  The fact that it is getting larger warrants paying special attention to it for sure.  With the bruising it may be a small hematoma under there that will work its way out - especially with massage.  If you develop skin redness or fevers then it is an entirely different matter. If that develops contact your doctor immediately.  I would say watch it and keep massaging to see if you can work that knot out.  A rolling pin helps get those side/waist areas as well.  Good luck!Dr. Bekanich
