Why hasn't my left breast dropped? (Photo)

Question

I had a mommy makeover on December 21st, 2023. I followed post-op instructions the way I was suppose to. One of them was I couldn’t wear a breast band because I had a breast lift with implants. On my first post-op appointment since surgery (a month later), they saw my breast and they said I can start massaging it and to keep wearing my surgical bras. I kept up with my post-op appointments since then due to another complication (tummy tuck bulge), and they keep telling me my breast are fine.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

At six months post op you are seeing your final results.  Surgical intervention would likely be needed to change the implant position at this point.  Visit with your surgeon to learn more.

It can take up to 6 months for implants to drop. to encourage the process, wearing the breast bands, doing massages, taking oral Accolate, and external ultrasound treatments can be very helpful. If it does not drop after 6 months, you may need surgery to release the capsule.

Your photos that are posted are barely acceptable and do not show the abdominal issue. The breast are never exactly the same. Yours are closed, but there is an issue with the breast that appears to be riding a little higher. Can have re-operation to release, inferior, scarring, or capsule dust allowing the breast to Fall lower to be more symmetrical with the opposite breast. There are other issues with the nipple areolas are not equal, and their size is not circular plus there is no photo for abdominal bulge. Appears you need a complete revision. Best to virtual consult with. Expect fees to range from $8000-$12,000.
