I had a brow lift and my right eye lid is sagging more then my left eye. It's quite noticeable and people are commenting on it. I know nothing heals at the same pace, but should this be addressed sooner then later? Also my one brow is higher then the other. I cannot even put on eye makeup without lifting the lid and brow. Answer: Droopying eyelid after brow lift It is difficult to tell why the eyelid is lower after the brow lift from the pictures provided. The eyelid can be droopy due to ptosis (weakened or stretched out opening muscle) or could be lower due to the weight of the eyelid skin and brow pushing it down from a weakened brow lifting (frontalis) muscle. The right brow definitely appears lower than the left. What technique was used for brow lifting? It could be that the nerve providing input to the brow elevating muscle on that side was injured from the surgery. This can be temporary or permanent depending on the nature of the injury. I would give yourself more time to heal before determining the next step. If after 3-6 months the brow and the eyelid have not resumed a more normal position then evaluation by a surgeon with experience in droopy eyelid (ptosis) repair as well as brow lifting techniques would be recommended.

Answer: Need more information I see that the right brow is lower than the left brow. It appears as if you had a temporal lift (lateral only) lift but I would need to your pre op pics. I would also need to know the exact type of browlift and method of suspension. At this point, the most important thing to do is to follow up with your surgeon and voice your concerns. I wish you the very best!
