I had a rhinoplasty done 2 weeks ago and I got my stitches removed after week 1 however the incision is still kind of open. It almost looks like I can pull my nostril away from my face. This is worrisome to me as I expected the stitches to completely close the wound but it hasn’t. My surgeon won’t restitch. Is this normal and will it even finally close on its own or should I get steri-strips to close it up?
