I had microneedling done 36 hours ago and am very concerned about the areas under eyes- is this normal? (PHOTOS)

The overal redness is diminishing but my skin is right, feels completely raw, and is starting to peel. My biggest concern is under my eyes are still swollen and have needle marks: bruising . Am only using cetaphil and Versace cream . Please advise if this is normal ?

Thank you for your pictures and questions. Microneedling can cause some temporary skin irritation and redness but this usually does not last past 1-2 days. Thank you for your question. It seems you received aggressive treatment.
The area underneath the eyes is very sensitive and the major concern is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and infection. For this kind of skin injury it usually takes about 7-10 days to heal, but the redness may persist longer. I would definitely follow up with your provider.

Hello - thank you for your question and photos. Don't worry - it is normal to have severe redness, swelling and even bruising after an aggressive microneedling treatment. Under the eyes is a very sensitive area, so it is not surprising that you are experiencing some bruising there. Don't worry, it will heal up beautifully.

Thank you for your pictures. You do not state what type of microneedling you had done and if it was performed by a physician or not. From your pictures I would be concerned about the eye area since your skin has a tendency to develop hyperpigmentations. In my practice I use Vivace with insulated needles for patients  like you. Also a skilled provider knows to adjust the depth of the needles according to the area. The skin around the eye is very delicate. In your case you need to follow up with the provider that did you treatment.
