Thank you for your question. Following a microneedling session, it is normal for the skin to feel warm and to appear red. This will subside over the next few hours. If you are uncomfortable post treatment, you could use ice for about 15-30 minutes. Though, in general, we recommend against using ice, or anything that would inhibit the inflammatory process on the treated area. This inflammatory process is what stimulates collagen and elastin, and will increase skin firmness, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scars and improve your complexion.
