Input on implant profile that would look best with my frame? (photos)

Question

I am 125lbs, 5'6", have a BWD of 12cm, and currently wear a 34A. My breasts are fairly widely spaced and my nipples project slightly laterally. I am wondering what the best implant profile would be for me? I am hoping for a very natural look and am thinking of going somewhere in the 250-275cc range. I am hoping for a little bit of cleavage. I will of course consult a board certified plastic surgeon but just wanted more insight from a larger community.

Breast implant profiles refer to the degree of projection from the chest wall. There are generally three main types of implant profiles: low profile, moderate profile, and high profile. Each profile offers different characteristics that can help achieve specific aesthetic goals.

For a natural look with a moderate increase in size and some cleavage, a moderate profile implant might be a good option to consider. Moderate profile implants provide a balance between projection and width, resulting in a subtle enhancement and a natural slope.

The selection of the implant size should also be based on your unique anatomy, desired outcome, and your surgeon's recommendations. The volume range you mentioned, between 250-275cc, can potentially achieve a modest increase in size while maintaining a natural appearance. However, it's important to note that implant sizes can vary among different manufacturers, so working closely with your surgeon to select the appropriate size is crucial.

During your consultation, your surgeon will evaluate your breast anatomy, including the width of your chest and the existing breast tissue, to determine the best implant profile and size for you. Based on your measurements and wish photo I would suggest the Mentor Smooth Round Moderate Plus Xtra profile. They give a nice natural look but also would help add the cleavage you are looking for. Always have your surgeon measure your BWD to be as measurements can differ.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

   Thanks for posting your pictures and your goal picture. From observing your pictures you appear to have small A cup size breasts. 250-275 cc implants will bring you to a 34 B+ cup size. Considering your body dimensions, you might want to consider  becoming  34  small C cup size (325 - 350 cc) , which is more proportionate to your body and very natural looking. I would recommend a moderate profile Saline implants made by Mentor for multiple reasons. The best surgical approach for obtaining nice and predictable cleavage is via sub areola incision.
   Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage, perky and natural looking. Check also the reviews, to build up confidence in your surgeon.

After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. When selecting an implant it is always best to meet in person with your board certified plastic surgeon.  She/He will measure your breasts, discuss your goals, for surgery, and assist in selecting the right implant to help meet those goals. Measurements are needed to determine the best range of size for your tissue and frame. However, the range you are suggesting should look very nice and natural for you. Probably the moderate plus profile would work well.
