I have previously posted but my pictures did not upload which provided no context. I am 7.5 weeks post lift with implant. 335 cc high profile. My nipples are very lateral in comparison to the implant. I'm not sure what caused this or if it was poor technique. My breasts are bigger that i originally asked which isn't as much of a problem as the nipple placement. Any advise in what happened and what can be done to fix this would be great!
Answer: Breasts You are still early in the healing process and the pocket around the implant still needs to form and settle. You may find once the implants settle completely, that your nipples appear more centered on the breasts. Nipples should point out and not forward.

Answer: Lateral nipples Dear Good7882, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process. You will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery. Answer: Breast surgery outcome To make an assessment regarding the outcome of any plastic surgery procedure, we need to see proper before and after pictures. On your before pictures, you must likely have significant divergence of your nipples right side greater than left side(unless you took a picture using a mirror). Women who have nipple divergence are going to have this amplified with breast augmentation as the implant creates projection. Patients were less than ideal candidates for breast documentation will have these less than ideal variables put on display as the breast is made larger. The surgeon can’t mive the breast on your chest wall and changing the divergence angle is inherently limited in what can be achieved. Breast augmentation outcomes are usually based on three variables. The first is the patient’s candidacy for the procedure. The second is the choice of implants and the third is the surgeons ability to put the implant in the correct anatomic location. The implants look like they’re placed correctly. Sizing is important, but the issues you bring up are primarily related to your candidacy for the procedure not how the operation was performed. When patients have variables that make them less than ideal candidate for surgery, it would be preferable if surgeons would bring this up during in person consultations before the patient schedules the procedure. This is especially true when breast sit wide on the chest wall or for individuals who have nipple divergence. To make an accurate assessment, we need quality before and after pictures. If you don’t have proper before, and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. Mats Hagström MD
