Sizing during your pre-operative appointment will give you a pretty accurate estimate as to what you will look like after your breast augmentation procedure. This method is not perfect; however, your size should not throw off the sizers at all.

Based on your photos, you appear to be a good candidate for subglandular (above the muscle) breast augmentation which can help correct slightly lower nipple position on you and give you a fuller cleavage that you desire.
Implant size discussion and implant selection is one of the most important steps during your consultation with plastic surgeon. The decision-making process depends on patient’s desires, as well as breast and soft tissue dimensions. 450-500cc size implant will likely give you a full cleavage that you desire.
I would encourage you to seek a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to further discuss your options, specific techniques, concerns and expectations.

400-500 cc implants will generally add around 2 cup sizes. The choice of implant is determined by combining your goals for size and the appearance of the breasts with a detailed assessment of your height/weight, breast dimensions, and chest width. In our practice, we encourage patients to bring in photos of breasts that they like and to spend time putting implants in their bra and deciding on the size and shape during the consultation. You should find an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon, who you can trust and can guide you through the decision-making process.

thank you for your question. It is difficult to tell without measurements what size implants would be best for you. Somewhere between a three and 400 mL implants will give you a moderate increase. Approximately 2 cup sizes. 500 mL implants is going to make a dramatic difference. Based on your picture, your breast size is slightly asymmetric and may require two different size implants. The best thing that you can do it is to establish your goals and try to get on the absolute same page as your plastic surgeon so that he or she may deliver the results you are seeking. Good luck.

I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants, and they choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers or small implants can be placed totally submuscular.

Based on this photo and your measurements, it looks that going 2 cup sizes up from your current size would be appropriate. Since you have bigger frame and chest, your cup size should be somewhere around 225-250 ml. based on our experience; it seems that range of 400-500 ml. is appropriate. In most plastic surgery offices where breast augmentation is frequently performed, you will find breast implants sizers, which can help you to make correct decision. Good luck.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

The best place to begin is a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you. During this visit you will learn more about the procedure, be examined including measurements of your breasts, and discuss your surgical goals. Many surgeons have sample implants you can "try on" to get an idea of how you may look after surgery. There are many things to consider when selecting an implant other than volume.
