These are 250cc high profile silicone implants submuscular post op day 3. My Bwd is 10cm. Debating if I should have got larger implants?? Maybe 300cc or will it not have made a big difference? I didn't want to go larger and have more risks but at the same time I don't want them any smaller. So far I feel content with the size.

Answer: Will my breasts get larger as they "drop and fluff"? Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation procedure. Although online consultants will not be able to provide you with meaningful reassurance, it may be helpful for you to know that the majority of my patients who are pleased one week out of surgery, remain very happy with the outcome of breast augmentation surgery in the longer term. I routinely ask my patients to wait at least 3-6 months before evaluating the end results of the breast augmentation surgery. This waiting time allows patients to (usually) physically and psychologically adapt to the new body image. From the physiological standpoint, it takes many months ( and even up to one year) to see the final results of surgery. Factors such as swelling, tissue contraction, skin redraping, implant shifting etc. come into play. You may be pleasantly surprised wants to be "drop and fluff" phenomenon has occurred (as breast implants “settle”, many patients feel that their breasts actually look larger). You may also be happier once the swelling AROUND the breast implants dissipates and the implants' shape and projection become more visible. From the psychological standpoint, patients undergo an “adaptation period" during which time they get used to the changes that the surgical procedure has brought about. Severe emotional swings can also occur after any type of surgical procedure. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with long-term.

Answer: 3 Days Post Op Hello,Thank you for your question and photo. You appear to have a great result so far. If your base width was truly 10 cm then you were certainly limited from going larger than you did. You should achieve a full but proportionate result. Once swelling resolves and tissues soften you will find that implant volume relocates more into the lower breast poles and contours change but you shouldn't expect the breast size to actually change much. All the best
