Chest compressions after breast augmentation.

Question

I have first including cpr training coming up. I've had breast implants under muscle which seem to be healing well at what is now 4 and a half wks. Bit tender and sometimes not sore but a bit of an ache. Like a tight muscle. I'll be 9 wks post op by the time i need to do cpr training. Wil that be enough time? I've postponed once already as i don't think I'd healed enough at 4 wks.

Thank you for your question.  Nine weeks post breast augmentation would be considered a safe time to participate in CPR training.  That being said, my advice is that if it hurts, don't do it.  You may be able to speak with your CPR instructor prior to the class.  Best of luck.

At 9 weeks if you are healing well, you will likely be fine to go through w/ your CPR training. If you still have soreness or discomfort, speak w/ the instructor to see if you can do modified physical activity without impacting your chance of being certified. Best of Luck!
