2 years post op back and side lumps Hello! I got a lipo 360 and bbl in 2023 January. Almost two years post op I did many massages the first 6 months. I have basically hard ball around two or three on my waist area on the left side. On my back it’s very tight at the bottom and flat and drastically changes to basically a lump or like it’s the fluid just hardened into one big lump. Not sure. Massages didn’t do much for that area. I also have a lot of loose thick skin from mid back and up.

Answer: Liposuction results Massage cannot change Liposuction results. The results from this procedure is purely dependent on the patient’s candidacy for surgery and how the procedure is performed guided Postoperative care does not change the outcome. To make an assessment, you need an in person consultation and should come prepared with a complete set of proper before and after pictures. if you don’t have before and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. Your surgeon is also the correct person to follow up with regarding your concerns about the outcome. It looks like you have some skin laxity on your back and that may be contributing, though we really can’t make a quality assessment with limited information. Either follow up with your provider or schedule an in person opinion consultation with other plastic surgeons in your community. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
