Basically what I want to know is which procedure would be best for me, an implant or maxillofacial surgery. And one of my main concerns post surgery would be if that "straining" or wrinkles that are shown in the photo would disappear with the implant or surgery. If there's anything else that could be done, please mention it? Thanks!

It can take upwards of 2 weeks to a month for an intramural incision to heal. The bump on your incision site will likely last an extended period of time. Without having seen it, my guess is this is an area of granulation tissue or scar tissue that will take some time to settle down....
