Can you knock a breast implant out of place?

Is highly unlikely you displaced your implant at three weeks because of jogging. I would like to know why you are engaged in that activity in the first place however.

At 3 weeks it is unlikely that you displaced the implant with a light jog.  However, I advise my patients not to do any activity that makes them bounce for at least 4 weeks.  Discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon as they can examine you.  Best wishes.

It's hard to knock them out of the pocket, so if you have any concerns see your plastic surgeon.  I have seen patients whose air bags have gone off into the breast without any problems with the implants.

It is unlikely that your implant can be displaced with an activity such as jogging.  If you have concerns then you should visit with your plastic surgeon ASAP

I would say its unlikely that you have "shifted" your implants but I would agree with others in saying that jogging only 3 weeks post operatively is a bit aggressive.  The motion and bouncing from running so shortly after surgery may have causes a tear in your capsule or change in position of implants.  I recommend you see your doctor to have an examination to make sure nothing has changed. You should not make any exercise till 1 and a half month post op.It is possible that the exercise broke or rip the capsule with  consecuences of : rupture, bleeding and swealing.You should contact your doctor.

It is possible to cause a tear in the capsule layer allowing the implant to shift or even release from the supportive capsule. We typically recommend our patients refrain from jogging until a full month after surgery. If you are concerned about a possible shift of implant position visit your surgeon for evaluation. 

Thank you for your question.  Based on your history is very unlikely that you knocked your breast implant out of place.  By 3 weeks the tissues surrounding your implant that hold it in place should be fairly well developed.  However it is best that you check with your plastic surgeon for an examination.
