Thank you for your photos and questions. All the monikers for lipo can get confusing and beware because a lot of it is just marketing. I think you would be a good candidate for SAFE liposuction using traditional suction technique. This allows for smoothing and shaping of the treated areas which can prevent contour deformities which can be common in petite patients such as yourself. Make sure you are seeing a local plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and do not be fooled by other “board certifications.”

Thank you for your question regarding what type of liposuction is right for you. Considering the fact that you want muscle definition, I would strongly suggest VASER liposuction. During VASER liposuction, the fat is melted, the muscles are sculpted, and the skin is heated to shrink-wrap around the muscle. Therefore, the fat is melted with heat and exposes the underlying muscles. Normal liposuction does not get nearly as effective results as the VASER in terms of muscle definition or in my opinion, overall results. Therefore, since you are seeking muscle definition, I would highly recommend VASER liposuction. You also mentioned 360 liposuction. 360 liposuction is just a term to describe lliposuction of the abdomen, hips, and lower back. It is sometimes also used to describe liposuction of the entire body. Unfortunately, 360 liposuction is a very vague term. I hope this helps to answer your question regarding whether you should undergo VASER or normal liposuction.
VASER hi def abdominal sculpting or etching is a technically difficult procedure. Your plastic surgeon must know his abdominal wall anatomy. Vaser liposuction has to do with technology, it uses a technology that reduces trauma to the body and therefore the healing process is better, if the specialist knows how to use this technology. The lipo 360 is a liposculpture, the body is molded by removing fat from different areas of the body and the most recommended for a harmonious body where the results are long lasting. In your case, to achieve the look you want, a consultation is necessary to determine if a tummy tuck or mini tummy tuck is necessary to improve the abdominal area by tightening the abdomen and removing some excess skin. I understand that this can get confusing about different techniques, but to add more confusion, there are different types of surgeons and non- surgeons with different levels of skill sets in the ability to reshape or sculpt the body. You start out with a good bony and muscle anatomy and you will get a great results in the right hands.
