I need a mid/lower facelift and neck lift but I also need volume replacement and was thinking about Sculptra as an option. I wanted to do Sculptra first but I'm concerned about how it might affect the tissue planes. Thoughts?
Answer: Neck Sag -- Fillers Like Belotero, Silk; Fraxel or Erbium Laser; Botox/Dysport/Xeomin; Sagging needs Neck Lift, Renvion/Vaser sculptra helps prepare the skin for neck and facelifting, studies show that microneedling RF and thermage RF also help optimize the skin for healing during facial surgery. its important to do cosmelan or enlighten peels to help optimize the skin and we love sente pressed contour serum for firmness of the skin as well. With significant neck sagging you would need a neck/face lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). at the same time lasers (fraxel, co2 or erbium( or microneedling RF (fractora, intensif) can be . performed to improve the crepe skin or wrinkles. J plasma/Renuvion, thermiRF, inmode facetite for internal tightening 7. ultherapy and thermage for external tightening 8. regular Venus legacy, exilis ultra, or inmode forma treatments with facials to maintain tightness 9. Answer: Sculptra before face/neck lift It is not uncommon to add volume to the face prior to doing a face/neck lift and this could be done with Sculptra. Sculptra in the face should not affect the ability to perform the surgery.

Answer: Combination of Sculptra and Facelift It is a great idea to combine the two. Facelift will tighten the jowls and neck and Sculptra will fill the cheeks. As long as Sculptra is being done in the cheek area it will not affect the Facelift. RegardsDr. J

Answer: * months later same issue...??? You previously asked same question back in Sept 2019, this was my response, "You can try non invasive options as Dr Emer has suggested first. If you are satisfied than you are done. But if the results are not to the degree desired than best option is a surgical mini FL/NL with muscle plication. " Now 8 months have pasted by, and Covid-19 effects are present, best option is surgical mini FL/NL. If you try Sculptra injections the effects are completed by 6 weeks post each session of injections. Why not try a combination of surgery with fat grafts (micro/nano grafting during surgery?). Those fees would be in the $8,000-$10,000... Best to obtain in person opinions.
