I've had Sculptra treatment in my face which I am happy with. Does it also work well to build collagen under the arms to rid the wrinkling? Hands?
Answer: Tightening the skin under the arms For tightening and firming the upper arm, I typically recommend a nonsurgical skin tightening treatment known as ThermiTight. ThermiTight uses tiny probes to deliver radiofrequency energy deep into the dermal tissue. The energy gently heats the area, leading to constriction and firming. The treatment also boosts more collagen production by the body to create smoother skin from the inside out. Other options are laser tightening with a fractional CO2 laser, Thermage, and diluted fillers using either Radiesse or Sculptra. All of these boost collagen production. Ulthera is great for the back of the arms, but in my opinion not as good for the area you describe. I encourage you to find an experienced, board-certified dermatologist in your area for an in-person assessment and to find out if ThermiTight is the right choice for you.
