Ripples on the nipple after changing to gel silicone

I hád Saline implants for 10 year and now i changed tô gel silicone and i can fell a air bubble followed by a lot riples on on of my implants, its been 6 month and still there . Should i do a mri tô see if there is a defect on the silicone?

Is this bruising or necrosis on my nipple? (Photos)

At this point, the photos do not seem to indicate necrosis.  The tip of the nipple does have some scabbing, but the blood supply to the nipple and areola, based on color, seems OK.  If there are concerns, have your surgeon evaluate you in person.  Best Regards.

Think of the nipple-areola is part of the skin envelope of the breast, so its position does not change as implant are moved. This can create the appearance that they are to the side. Changing nipple position requires some version of a lift even if they are moved sideways and not up.

Based on your photo, the plates that you were seeing may just represent edema, or may represent some visibility of the implant pocket. Considering surgery was very recent, it will take time for things to settle into final position. I would recommend follow up with your board-certified plastic...

Hello,Capsular contracture and recurrent capsular contracture is a bacterial problem. If your surgeon isn't a revision breast expert who adheres to the 14 point plan and either a total en bloc capsulectomy or a total capsulectomy with a dermal matrix, then smoking cessation won't help.  Best o...

Your implant does seem to sit a bit higher on the right side. You may need a revision to drop this down a bit to match the crease on the left side, but it is still early days for you. It is worthwhile waiting for another couple of months or so at least, before you decide to have it revised.

Thank you for your pictures and questions. This is a common finding when doing and implant and a lift at the same time. The pressure on the areola from the underlying implant causes stretching of the areola. Placement of a permanent suture during the lift can help but it not always assured to...
