Im planning on having a face and neck lift with fat put in my cheeks, jowls and lower eyelids . I'm in my 60s, and have light complexion, thin skin . Is it safe to have co2 laser resurfacing at the same time ??
Answer: CO2 Laser with a facelift I routinely perform laser resurfacing with a facelift procedure. I find that my patients have to take 7-10 days to recover anyway, and the CO2 laser provides additional improvement in tone, texture, fine lines and spots that the over all results are enhanced tremendously. If your surgeon feels that you are a candidate, then go for it, you will be happy you did.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Simultaneous facelift with CO2 laser resurfacing. Hello, and thank you for your question. In many instances I do believe it is safe to perform these procedures simultaneously however, we have chosen a more conservative approach where we like to perform them on separate occasions. I would recommend to discuss this with her treating physician. Certainly if the surgeon performed a deep plane facelift this should not be a problem. Best of luck.

Answer: Depends on the extent This will depend on your Specialist. I personally like to perform the facelift and CO2 laser on separate occasions, because most of my patients also exhibit extreme sun damage. This means I need to use a heavy coverage setting for the CO2 Fractional and or erbium. Skin heals with the supply of oxygen from blood vessels, and a face lift, depending on the extent can partially impair optimal oxygen supply of the skin. If you are in good health, and if your face lift is not too extensive, some surgeons may elect to perform Fractional Co2 at the SAME time with relative safety.
