Bilateral BA (UTM) with unilateral lift. I'm extremely anxious over my results. I'm already thinking about a revision or just removing them entirely. My tissue hangs off my implant when I am on my side or bent over, and my scar looks scary :( any advice on how I should approach a revision? What would you do? :( thanks a lot for your guidance.
Answer: Implants Your limited photos actually show a good result. I would go back to your surgeon and discuss your concerns. Scar products can be helpful for your scars.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Feelinglost16, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Revision breast augmentation Better photos would aid in a surgical plan: anterior and lateral photos. You would look much better with a bilateral lollipop mastopexy. Your present scars do not look badly but you did not mention the date of your surgery

Answer: What would a BA/BL revision entail? When i compare the before vs the after posted photos your results are terrific! I might recommend waiting 6-12 months then maybe do donut lift on non lifted side with possible lifted side scar revision. But best to discuss with your chosen operative surgeon or seek in person or virtual consults.

Answer: Result better than you think You had a very significant symmetry problem to start so there will always be differences between the breasts. They say "sisters not twins" but yours were more distant relatives to start and now are much closer to even than they were. The scars are relatively normal as well and will improve over time. So, there is no specific need for a revision here and you are better served trying to understand that sometimes it is close to as good as it gets given a difficult starting point. Hope that helps to give some perspective.
