Is going for 800cc hp a good decision? I currently have 500cc mod + silicone Mentor and regret not going the largest I could have bec I feel mine are too flat and wide and not the change I wanted.I had two previous benelli lifts and this last time capsuloraphy in right breast. Is it wise to go to 800cc hp or is that too risky long-term? I want a certain look, but seems implants disappear on me and want to get it right this time that won't cause long-term complications? My PS says need full lift.
Answer: 800 cc'c I think that using 500 cc's moderate plus profile implants were probably too wide for you with too little projection, especially when a Benelli was performed. Switching to high profile silicone implants would be your best choice. 800 cc's is not unreasonable. Based on your photos, it does not appear that you require a full lift. Ary Krau MD FACS

Answer: Should be ok The key is to make sure your new implants have a base diameter no bigger then what you have now. You can get more projection with high profile saline implants or go with the extra high profile gels. Good Luck!

Answer: Is 800cc high profile good? 5'5", 115-120lbs, broad shoulders, 2 BAs with 2 benelli lifts. 5.5 mos post op 2nd BA Thank you for the question and pictures. Definitive advice would require in person evaluation but breast lifting does seem to be a good idea. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "up a cup size” or "DD cup" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your chosen plastic surgeon to work with you in determining the best plan to achieve your goals. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to "larger" breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.
