I want to get fillers in my smile lines again but I am worried that long term use will stretch out the wrinkle and make it worse. Here is a photo for reference.

Answer: Smile lines Long term use of fillers in the skin will not stretch out the skin to make it the affected area look worse. If you are getting fillers for this concerns seen on the photos, I would recommend that you consider injecting fillers in the cheeks (to lift the smile lines) as well as inject along the smile lines to soften the indentations and smooth out the valleys..

Answer: Fillers for smile lines The use of fillers will not cause long term changes to the skin. Once a filler has resorbed, the skin and underlying structures return to their baseline appearance. Based on the photos, you might want to consider facial skin resurfacing with a CO2 lase, chemical peels, or mocroneedling.
