Hello and thank you for your question.  A little botox can help a down turned smile but will not last long unfortunately.  I personally love using PDO Threads to help with this area.  They can be used to build volume and lift.  Typically two to three lifting threads (not cogs) per side/area would be needed for the jowl area for someone as young as you appear to be.  They can also be used at the margins of your lips to build volume thus causing an upturned lip.  They are a relatively easy treatment with little to no down time.  Hope this answer helps and best of luck for the Art of Ageless Aesthetics.

Hello and thank you for your question.  There will be many answers to your questions as there are many options available today that can help.  Some fairly simple to outright surgery.  To make life more interesting, I am going to recommend another option.  One that I am particularly fond of and what I consider to be fairly simple with little to no downtime.  The use of PDO Threads for both volume and lifting have the ability to produce amazing results, especially for someone as young as you appear to be in your photos. I hope this answer helps and best of luck from the Art of Ageless Aesthetics.

Hello and thank you for your question.  One option for you to consider is the use of PDO threads for both volume and lifting.  The process may take you a little longer and you may not have that instant gratification but in the end the results are worth waiting for.  Hope this helps and best of luck from the Art of Ageless Aesthetics

Hello and thank you for your question.  An option you may want to consider is the use of PDO Threads for that area.  There have been advances with PDO Threads that now include one from Miracu that is a meshfill made for the tear trough area.  It can also be used with filler and it acts as a guide for filler to prevent migration of the filler.  Hope this helps and best of luck from the Art of Ageless Aesthetics.

Hello and thank you for your question.  The use of fillers will not cause the skin to stretch or the wrinkle to get worse, but it truly won't help the skin and only temporarily makes the wrinkle look better.  An option you might want to consider is the use of PDO Threads for both volume and lifting to help with your smile lines. PDO Threads can be used for nasolabial folds, marionette lines, cheeks to provide both volume and lifting to those areas with minimal downtime.  Hope this answer helps and best of luck from the Art of Ageless Aesthetics.

Can a thread lift help with hollow eyes?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello and thank you for your awesome question.  This is a very common problem that I usually get asked about 3 times a day.  I am glad you are considering using PDO Threads to help.  I am a big fan of PDO Threads and am so happy to say that Miracu has come out with a new meshfill thread made specifically to help the tear trough area.  This thread can be used alone for volume or with filler.  It helps the filler by keeping it in place.  I personally like the results that I am seeing without the use of filler.  Hope this answer helps and best of luck from the Art of Ageless Aesthetics.

Hello and thank you for your questions.  Microneedling with PRP and filler is possible and yes it has been shown to be good for the cosmetic appearance of the skin.  PRP really works best when injected however.  You can still benefit from microneedling it into the skin, but ideally you should have it injected and microneedled.  Make sure you are going to someone who is using a good surgical system as well as knowledgable in injecting the PRP.  It is a fairly common treatment and it can help with scar reduction.  Hope this answer helps and best of luck from the Art of Ageless Aesthetics

Hello and thank you for your question.  There are a few ways to possibly correct your asymmetrical lip.  Fillers, implants or fat grafting are options as well as the use of PDO Threads.  The reason I choose PDO threads over fillers or fat is that the results can last much longer and are the least expensive treatment option. Hope this answer helps and best of luck from the Art of Ageless Aesthetics.

Kybella in jowl area, good or not so good?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello and thank you for your question.  Although Kybella has been FDA approved, the area it is approved for is the submental fat area.  However, there are entire courses devoted to Mesotherapy (Google defines Mesotherapy as-(in cosmetic surgery) a procedure in which multiple tiny injections of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, etc. are delivered into the mesodermal layer of tissue under the skin, to promote the loss of fat or cellulite) in which jowl reduction is an option.  Whatever you decide to use, just make sure you know and trust the provider.  You are correct in having concerns of loose skin after you dissolve the fat and that is definitely a possibility.  A great option to consider to help with this is the use of PDO Threads.  You can do an amazing things with PDO Threads and lift the jowl area with minimal bruising or downtime. Hope this answer helps and best of luck from the Art of Ageless Aesthetics.

Hello and thank you for your question.  Before you do anything please make sure you wait till your initial swelling has gone down to fully judge.  If you feel all the swelling is gone and your bottom lip is still too small, then yes, an option is to add more filler to the bottom lip.  I would not recommend removing any of the filler on the top unless you absolutely hate the upper lip.  Doing nothing and waiting for the filler to go away is also an option.  If you are afraid of making the bottom lip too big with more filler another option could be to place PDO Threads along the lower lip margin.  It will not increase the size of the lip, but it will enhance and slightly downturn the margin, to create a slightly fuller lip.  PDO Threads also work amazingly well to correct uneven smiles due to uneven lips.  Hope this answer provides you some options and best of luck from the Art of Ageless Aesthetics.
