Are these festoons or malar bags under my eyes? How should I go by correcting this problem? (Photo)

this looks more like swelling after laser procedure under the eyes. u can check with your doctor as to what the appropriate care would be post-laser. Festoons are hard to correct esp if they are located so far below the eyelid margin. I have done local excision in older patients which helps but its not the same for younger patients

If you get the small areas of your cheek prior to laser treatment and the other little bit more pronounced I would wait. The swelling and irritation of the tissue from the laser should subside over the next several weeks. Correction of festoons especially as low as yours is difficult.

Malar festoons very hard to treat. Plus the non invasive laser therapy only increased the edema. Try warm tea soaks, Vit K, Compression of area, diuretics.... 

It looks like you have malar edema more than anything else. Because of your procedure, the increased swelling exacerbate the  malar edema. Often this improves as the swelling subsides.

These are malar bags located below your eyelids. In my experience the best way to treat this problem is with a modified cheek lift.

Thank you for your question.  Yes you do have malar bags or festoons. The redness that you see after laser treatment should resolve as the skin is simply inflamed or irritated due to the effects of the laser.Malar bags or festoons are very difficult to treat.  In my experienced filler injections can, flaws that nicely but of course need to be repeated.
