Hi! I have always been insecure over my forehead and the way it looks. I've also been picked on for how "big" my forehead is. I'm a biological female, but I feel like my forehead is very masculine. I feel like my temporal lines on my forehead are too prominent and off balance my whole face. Am I a good candidate for hairline lowering, or forehead contouring? Thank you!

You are a good candidate for forehead reduction, also called hairline lowering, via a trichophytic incision that will hide the scar very well. Based on the photo, I do not believe you would also need to "contour" your forehead. This is done with the same incision that we make for brow lifting except the scalp is mobilized and moved forward as opposed to moving the brow upwards. Sometimes, both are done at the same time if a brow lift is also wanted/needed.
