Voluma Considerations. Could Voluma cause scar tissue or tissue damage?

Could Voluma injections cause scar tissue or tissue destruction/damage? How might they affect possibility of future fat grafting? I have a lean face with prominent cheek bones. I am considering minimal Voluma injections below to slightly balance them.

with my colleagues here.These are
virtually not concerns. All fillers do carry
the rare but possible risk of vascular occlusion, which can lead to tissue
damage. Scar tissue however is not a
significant risk, and this shouldn’t affect future fat transplants.

If performed by an experienced practitioner, Voluma should not cause any scarring or tissue damage that would interfere with future fat injections. Given your described lean face and prominent cheek bones, make sure to see someone who is very experienced with midface filler injections. Proper assessment and judgement are extremely important in patients with these characteristics.

With a thinner face, you are ahead of the game if you understand already that you need less filler to achieve the look you want.There are complications with fillers that your practitioner will discuss with you but scar formation and tissue destruction are not real considerations with the product is used properly.Sometimes less is more when it comes to fillers.  You don't ever want to look like you had them in the first place...results should be natural and you should look refreshed, not "filled."
