Labiaplasty for one side only is typically less expensive than a bilateral procedure. Labiaplasty has no effect on your ability to get pregnant, stay pregnant or deliver a child vaginally. Vaginal tears at the time of childbirth usually do not involve the labia minora.
Indeed labiaplasty can and frequently is performed on just one side, essentially no one is perfectly symmetric. Prices vary by region and frequenltly also according to surgeon experience. Surgical prices vary by region, surgeon, and surgical experience. I currently charge $4500 for bilateral labiaplasty ($3000 for unilateral) and additional fees if a clitoral hoodectomy is also required. I have been performing this procedure for 14 years in Beverly Hills, CA as one of my specialties. I also authored a book on it a couple of years ago. Because the surgery appears simple, there are many physicians nowadays offering up their services for labiaplasty. Keep in mind however that the first time around has the absolute best chance for success and that revisions are very difficult. Finally, if done correctly labiaplasty should in no way affect childbearing or delivery. Glad to help.
Thank you for your question.Cost varies widely depending on how much work needs to be done and whether you are a candidate to have it done in the office versus in surgery.Typically, only one side costs about half of two sided. To be sure, see two or more board-certified plasticsurgeons in your area for a full and complete evaluation to make sure you are agood candidate and that it is safe for you to have surgery.I hope this helps.
The surgical fee for labiaplasty is geographically variable but ranges from 2,000-4,000.00, and is definitely less expensive when only required to correct one labia. One you are well healed and recovered, pregnancy should not impact on the outcome, however pregnancy can have all kinds of effects including some potential change in the labia. On order to give you more specific and precise information relevant to your particular circumstance a consultation with a board certified Pladtic surgeon experienced in labiaplasty surgery would be necessary. Best of luck.
Chances are that to achieve balance, you will need surgery on both sides, but probably less tissue removed on the smaller side. As far as cost goes, every case is different, and if you truly need only one side operated, the cost may be less. Cannot say without a consultation.
The cost of labiaplasty varies among surgeons. Like other parts of the body, it is common to have asymmetries with the labia as well. It is very common for one side to be large than the other. Most of the time both sides are addressed, even if the problem is more severe on one side. I have done unilateral (one-sided) procedures in the past and have charged the patient a little bit less due to the decreased operative time. Labiaplasty should not affect your ability to get pregnant, it simply reduces the redundant labia minora tissue that is hanging down. In many cases it actually makes intimacy more comfortable and enjoyable.
Labiaplasty of a single side will be less than both sides, but typically more than half, since there are costs for the case that remain the same, whether one or both sides are done. A range is about $2,000 - $5,000, depending on the geographic region.Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or gynecologist doing a labiaplasty to find out an exact quote after a physical examination.Having a labiaplasty wouldn't impact your ability to get pregnant or to have a baby.Click on the link below to see a two-sided labiaplasty case. All the best.
Speaking only for myself, I have a wide range of prices I quote for Labiaplasty simply because the procedure needed varies widely from one person to another. Typically a unilateral is a little cheaper, although I have done bilateral that were very minimal that also required minimal time and suture lines to achieve our goal. I think you really need an in person exam. My charge for Labiaplasty under local anesthetic starts at $2000 for a minimal procedure up to $4500 depending on the needs and desires of the patient. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon with a special interest in Labiaplasty for a personal quote. And no, it will not affect having a baby. A pregnancy can change the appearance of your labia, however.
Hi, this is a great question. I would recommend that you wait at least 6-8 weeks or until cleared by your surgeon. You will want to wait until the incisions on the outside are healed. Best wishes!
