I got my surgery during the summer, and I was just wondering how long I have to wait to return swimming in a pool? My girl friends throwing a pool party 2 weeks and 3 days after my surgery. I know some doctors recommend having a salt bath, so if the pool was salt water would it be okay to go swimming?

Answer: Swimming after Labiaplasty Thank you for your question.Answers to this question will vary. We recommend no swimming for 6 weeks or until there are no open wounds.See web reference for our full set of recovery instructions. Answer: How long after Labiaplasty can you go swimming? I tell my patients two weeks on the average, but it totally depends on how you are healing. This is something only your surgeon can answer.
