Can I do a fat transfer from more than one place in one surgery? How much will it cost? (photos)

Fat can be harvest from many areas: arms, abdomen, back, flanks, thighs, etc.
In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less.
When choosing a plastic surgeon, the most important thing to consider is that he or she is board certified, the experience with the procedure you are interested in and that you feel comfortable in his/her hands.

The answer is yes, you can have fat removed from multiple places on the body, purified, and then injected back into places that you want more volume. However, you are correct in your thought that losing weight will decrease the size of the grafted areas as well. For this reason, I would advise you to lose the weight first so that your arms and back look good, then determine what fat sites are still available after that for transfer. You may find that there is not much fat available after your weight loss, and this is better to find out before you spend money on fat grafting and loose most of that volume.

The short answer to your question is yes. The long answer is it depends. Essentially the are two parts to fat transfer, the fat harvest using liposuction, and the fat transfer with micro grafting of the harvested fat to other parts of the body.As far as the harvest goes it is possible to remove as much fat as one can take from the various parts of your body without creating any liposuction defects or deformities. That harvested fat can then be transferred to any place you choose. So the number of places and the amount of fat that can be transferred simply depends on how much fat one is able to harvest, and the amount of fat you want placed in each area. In your particular case I do not think you will have enough fat to get an appreciable change in both your breast and buttock area, and you probably need to choose the area of most concern for you.

Yes, in many cases I will use multiple donor sites for fat transfers in my patients.  If one area has inadequate fat storage I will use additional areas to supplement the transfer. If you lose weight after your fat transfer you will decrease size in the newly transferred areas.
