These two things may or may not be related. You should make an appointment to see an Oculoplastic surgeon for an in person exam and consultation. This could be Thyroid related, but there are other potential causes that need to be evaluated.

Looking at your photos and your description my main concern would be a thyroid related eye problem.  Thyroid can give double vision and excessively open eyes with temporal flare ( overly open in the outside corners ).  I strongly suggest to see an ophthalmologist for a full exam and a thyroid blood test.

I believe the best first option for you is to see an ophthalmologist to check out the vision in each eye and the double-vision (diplopia). The light reflexes on your eyes/corneas appear to be well-aligned, but a full motility examination and refraction would be helpful. The examination guides additional work-up for eyelids, orbit, thyroid issues, etc. Best wishes.
