FaceTite can internally tighten the skin in the lower face and neck. After all the skin has been heated and contracted, we shape the neck with liposuction to give definition and remove stubborn pockets of fat. In one quick treatment, we can tighten skin, remove fat, and contour the lower face, jawline, and jowls with only a weekend of downtime. Keep in mind that combination approaches will give you a more significant improvement as opposed to a single procedure. I recommend getting a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
I apologize, but without photos, it is difficult to provide a specific answer to your concerns or determine if you are a suitable candidate for these treatments. However, I can still provide you with some general information regarding your questions. Facetite is a minimally invasive aesthetic procedure that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to tighten and contour the skin and underlying tissues of the face and neck. It works by heating the tissues to a specific temperature, which stimulates collagen production and leads to skin tightening and a more contoured appearance.Facetite is primarily designed for skin tightening and contouring, rather than fat removal. However, in some cases, it may be used to remove small amounts of excess fat. This is because the heat from the RF energy can also melt and liquefy fat cells, making them easier to remove or absorb by the body.It is important to note that facetite is not a substitute for traditional liposuction or weight loss procedures, as it is not designed to remove large amounts of fat. It is best used for patients who have good skin quality but are experiencing mild to moderate skin laxity or sagging.Like any cosmetic procedure, facetite carries some potential risks and side effects, including nerve damage. The procedure involves inserting a small cannula (thin tube) into the skin to deliver the RF energy, which can potentially damage nearby nerves if not done correctly. However, with proper technique and by using advanced technology, the risk of nerve damage can be minimized. In my clinical practice I usually combine Facetite combined with Morpheus 8, which requires three sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart, or Renuvion/J Plasma in a single session. It is important to conduct a comprehensive medical assessment during an in-person consultation to evaluate your skin's quality (including its elasticity, irregularities, and excess skin) and identify areas of localized fat,may be present, that require treatment to create a personalized treatment plan. Best wishes, Dr Giuseppe Fiore
This is a great question. Facetite is the closest treatment to a facelift. The idea of the treatment is to remove any fat tissue as well as stimulating the collagen and elasticity. This results the skin to have a more of a plumped and tighter look to help prevent sagging with little down time. Good luck!
FaceTite uses radifrequency technology to tighten the skin. It does not remove fat. There are risks to any procedure, but the risk of nerve damage is low. However it is always important to select an experienced board certified plastic surgeon for your procedure and be sure to discuss any concerns. FaceTite can be combined with other treatments such as Morpheus8 to optimize your results.
Hi there! Thanks for your questions. FaceTite is a non-surgical option which helps to reduce fat and tighten the skin. I often tell my patients that great results will be about a 30-40% improvement in areas like jowls and the neck. But, it's not comparable to a facelift. There are risks of burn injuries to the skin, irregularities, and weakness of nerves. The marginal mandibular nerve runs close by and this being an energy device, it can cause problems if the jowls are treated too aggressively. Hope this helps!
