Hello, I know areola reduction is made with permanent suture. Let's assume the doctor is using a 6months rated suture to keep the areola in shape, after 3 months post-op, should I except the same areola shape with both a permanent suture or a 6 months rated suture? Or even after 3 months the permanent suture will hold the areola better in place ?

If implants are not added and a lift is done, you should do well with dissolving sutures since there would be no reason for your breasts to stretch and the lift will support the sagging breasts.
As you have already undergone a revision I encourage you to meet with another board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation. Discuss your goals for surgery and listen to varying opinions. It seems more time is needed to determine the best approach to get the result you want...
Dear Vega637,
most breasts change during pregnancy but these changes can be minimal so there is no need for additional surgery. Also, permanent sutures can be removed if they are the cause of problems.
