my right eyebrow is significantly higher than my left one and I’m very insecure about it. Idk what to do. what will be the best procedure for long term. I was born with this asymmetry and also sleep on one side. please help me.
Answer: One brow is significantly higher: treatment optic? Brow asymmetry is quite common and some degree of facial asymmetry is present in everybody. A unilateral browlift can improve the asymmetry but yours is mild and wnam not aure the benefits are worth it. Seek several opinions.

Answer: Brow Asymmetry Thank you for the question and providing the photo! Some degree of facial asymmetry is normal, in fact sometimes people look a bit odd if they are "too symmetric". Based on your photo, I would say the asymmetry falls within a very normal range and probably would not recommend any further intervention. I certainly wouldn't recommend anything surgical at this point (brow lift), but this could be something to consider in the future should the asymmetry worsen. It is hard to tell based on the photo, but sometimes people will have one eyebrow that lifts higher when they are raising their brows. If this is the case, that could be handled very quickly and easily by something like botox. Hope this helps!Kyle Kimura, MD

Answer: Non-Surgical Chemical Brow Lift for Eyelid Rejuvenation -- add Ultherapy, Thread Lifting, RF Skin Tightening, Laser Treatments As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow, eyelid, eye troughs, upper eye hollows, and forehead. I typically combine this with Ultherapy and thread lifting to lift the brow; RF and skin tightening laser treatments to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin; and laser or superficial RF devices for improvements in texture, color, and any crepey skin around the eyes as needed. In some cases, surgery is the best solution to achieve the desired results. See an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Brow asymmetry You need to submit a photo showing your eyes as well. One of the most common reasons for brow asymmetry is eyelid asymmetry. If you have a ptosis, or low eyelid height on one side, the brow on that side will be higher as it tries to help elevate the eyelid. This is improved by elevating the lower eyelid.

Answer: One brow higher than the other Thank you for the question and the photo. Unfortunately you really can't tell from this one photo what the issue may be. Eyelid position can greatly affect brow position. if one lid is droopy then that brow may be higher because of a neurologic drive to raise that brow. A full face photo would be helpful, but I suggest that you make an appointment with a fellowship trained Oculoplastic surgeon for an in person exam and consultation.
