HELP: Do I have a seroma after Vaser lipo? (It's been 8 months post op). (Photos)

Question

I did vaser 8 months ago and had ZERO results. In fact I have the same belly and flanks look even worse. But is it a seroma? Please help me based on your experience . My surgeon is apparently not good he said he will do another vaser on me for free but no word about seroma. Does it look like a seroma? Would it help if I did lymphatic massage now or is it too late? Please help I'm desperate and can't tell if I'm bloated, have more fat or a seroma.

Thank you for your question and photos. Preop photos would've been helpful, but based on these photos you have a poor result. VASER Hi Def Lipo is a specialized technique that most plastic surgeons are not trained in. You have a lot of fat, poor shape and two large abdominal wall scars in very conspicuous areas.You do not have a seroma, just poorly done surgery. I would suggest not to allow your surgeon to do another surgery on you even if it is offered free. The internal  scarring will be so dense that a correction will be very difficult. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Thank you for your question, the feel of a seroma is one of movement, can usually tell by pressing on the area and you should be able to see the movement of the fluid, versus fat which can be pinched and it is more solid.  Consult with your physician, and  you can always seek a second opinion of a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
