Bump on nose 4 months after rhinoplasty: Should I be worried yet? (Photo)

I had a rinoplasty about 4 months ago to take the bump out of the bridge of my nose. I still had a small bump on the bridge of my nose after surgery but I was told not to worry about it and that it would go down. It is still there and feels very hard, like bone.

It is very common to have swelling and inflammatory changes creating nostril asymmetry a few weeks after surgery.  The nostril contours typically mature in about 6-12 months after rhinoplasty.  If you have concerns with your recovery I would recommend speaking with your surgeon.

The area may be a nasal splint or crusting commonly seen after nasal surgery... I would see your rhinoplasty surgeon in the postoperative period.
