What would be best suited to make my nose longer and more narrow

A nose can be out of proportion with the remainder of the face. If you have a long face, a short nose in the middle can look awkward. There are methods to lengthen the nose and create better facial proportions. Usually this involves relocating the cartilage you already have in your nose to change the shape. Every case is different, and not all noses have the same cartilage inside to work with. Therefore a consultation to assess these issues is vital to planning a successfull rhinoplasty operation.

A rhinoplasty can narrow the nose and refine the nasal tip. However, to assess the length of the nose a photo showing your profile would be needed to make an accurate determination.

To lengthen your nose, cartilage grafts are used. There are a number of sources for these cartilage grafts. In order of preference, it's nasal septal cartilage, ear cartilage then rib cartilage.

A full set of photographs are required from the front, three quarters and side profiles before making a decision on what can  And cannot be performed on the nose. To  lengthen the nose, cartilage grafting techniques are required which involves harvesting cartilage from inside the nose and placing grafts along underlying framework to lengthen it.
