I can feel irregular cartilage on my nose. Is it something that will go away? (Photo)

Iam 1 month post op and i think all my swelling is gone ( i hope so because i dont want my nose to get smaller than this ) and now i can see a line of my left. nose (i had closed rhinoplasty mainly for my bulbous tip), is this going to go away? It makes my nose look unnatural , as you can see the dark line, when i touch it It feels depressed, going down as if it is a cartilage or something, on the other side everything is normal, i know i have to wait months, but is it something that goes away?

Hi Ev,Crying and hitting your nose (see Manny Pacquiao answer) are not ideal during rhinoplasty recovery.  Crying causes increased swelling. It is normal to feel a bit down during the immediate post-op period from any surgery.  All should be well, good luck and be well.Dr. P

Hi and thanks for your question. I agree that there is a difference in your eyelids and you have some deviation of your nose. I also need for you to understand that symmetry in the human being does not exists. There will always be differences between the right and let, particularly in the face....
