A few month ago I noticed that a bump appeared on the right side of the bridge of my nose. It was not like this previously and the left side has remained the same. It feels hard like bone and slightly pointy. If anyone could explain this to me I would appreciate it! I'm concerned it could be serious since I have a strange medical history.

A sudden growth of some type of lesion requires the consultation in person for a dermatologist for facial plastic surgeon And possible biopsy. If this is a dorsal hump, it'll need to be filed down to remove it With a rhinoplasty procedure.

Answer: Bump on Nose Due to your medical history, I would recommend examination by a Otolaryngologist or a Facial Plastic Surgeon. They will be able to examine your nose inside and out, as well as the rest of your head and neck. The findings can then be correlated with your medical history. Should it be necessary, imaging studies can be ordered. The picture that you supplied is very blurry and does not show enough of the issue. Nonetheless, a complete examination would be needed.
