My neck and my face blushes and turns red spots when I'm nervous, anxious, drinking alcohol, or embarrassed. I'm looking into vbeam or ipl but don't know which one will be better for me. Is my redness a rosacia?
Answer: V beam vs IPL? Englewood Cliffs New Jersey In my opinion, the vbeam is better for individual blood vessels and the IPL is better for generalized redness. You should visit a dermatologist who will determine if you have rosacea. You can add other therapy which will improve the effectiveness and longevity of the laser or IPL.

Answer: Both treatments can be combined as they both help diffuse redness caused by facial blushing Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve the visibility of the scars so that they are no longer visible in ambient light. Everyone has a unique pattern of scarring and we employ our HIDEF technique to improve texture, color, contour, and topography. We often use a combination of treatments that begin with a careful examination to examine the micro texturing of the acne scars. Atrophic scars and indented scars can benefit from injectable fillers such as Radiesse, Sculptra, and Restylane with or without subcision to remove tethered scars and atrophic depression. Hyper-redness in scars can be improved with V beam laser, Excel V, BBL, IPL, and Venus RF to improve the redness and reduce the visibility of deep scars. Fractional Thulium laser and clear & brilliant can also reduce the inflammation and redness of the scar when combined with topical therapy. Fractional lasers such as Fraxel, erbium, and CO2 laser can be combined with radio frequency and also fractional RF to improve textual issues and microtopography. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. Above all, our combination approach with our clinical nurses and board-certified plastic surgeons can improve the quality of your skin by using at home Melarase creams combined with PRP treatments in our office to improve your skin quality and tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced team of experts in order to reduce your scarring. Finally, hyperpigmentation of scars can be improved with at-home Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads to help reduce active PIH and melanin deposition. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: VBeam vs. IPL Hi laserhelp4,It's tricky to say which would work better, as it depends on your skin. I would seek out a provider with experience using both treatment modalities. He or she can assess which would be most appropriate for your particular skin type. Both IPL and VBeam can help with facial redness. However, depending on the type of redness you have (e.g. broken capillaries, general redness), one may be better than the other. Hope that makes sense. Best of luck!

Answer: VBEAM vs. IPL for Redness and flushing associated with rosacea We use VBeam laser for the redness and flushing you are describing. The VBeam treats redness and vascularity, where the IPL tends to treat more brown-red sun damage. This isn't to say IPL wouldn't help, but if you are just starting your research and looking for an office to receive treatment, VBeam would be your best option.

Answer: VBeam or IPL To diagnose you with Rosacea you would first need to consult with your Dermatologist. If in any case you are diagnosed with Rosacea, Vbeam would be the best treatment. Vbeam treats all sorts of redness conditions like acne scars, broken capillaries, rosacea, stretch marks and port wine stains. Best, Dr. Alex Khadavi
