Hi Bryanrod13, Thank you for posting your question. How long were you in your first tray before you lost it? Each tray builds on the progress of the previous tray sequentially. It is recommended to change each tray every two weeks or 14 days. If your near the end of the two weeks before you lost it then you may be okay going to the next tray without a problem. If you lost it early on then the next tray might feel too tight. Invisalign can make a replacement aligner for a small charge. Your dentist can order it for you if you need it. It is best to ask your treating dentist what you should do. Hope that helps. Good Luck!Best,Dr. Supriya Verma
It's not ideal to move ahead without properly wearing each aligner for the full duration. I would contact your Invisalign provider and see if he is comfortable with you moving ahead. If you need to restart, a new set of aligners can be ordered and you will have them in 1 week.
Every tray in the process is very important to the overall successof the treatment. If it’s only one tray lost it might be okay to skip it and goon to the next trays as long as it’s not something that is routinely done. You shouldcontact your dentist to see if he is okay with you doing that or if he feelsmore comfortable reordering the old tray.

There are no suppose to's but I don't see why your orthodontist wouldn't. If you would like to get a copy of the clin-check then just put in another request. If you don't feel like your concerns are being addressed then you may consider going to another Dentist or Orthodontist. Hope that h...
