It was good. They made sure to figure out what treatment was best for me and made sure I was comfortable with every step. They also explained everything that’s needed to be done in detail. Dr. Marina was very gentle and knows what she was doing. Staff were very friendly and accommodating :) definitely recommend Upper Eastside Orthodontist!
My son has been treated for overbite with a palate expander and we were so happy with the results and experience with Dr. Tanya Vaysman and her team that we decided to continue the next step of treatment with putting in braces to properly position the teeth. My son is always reluctant to go to any doctor's office and gives me a hard time, but he likes this office and I have no issues at all bringing him here. The office staff is also really great, appointments are easy to schedule and always on time with minimal wait. They also accommodate any emergencies such as the time when one of the wires on the braces broke. They scheduled an appointment outside of their regular hours to fix the braces. They have been also very careful with Covid protocols, masking, distancing and sanitizing and my son has continued the orthodontic visits throughout the pandemic safely. Dr. Vaysman is also very professional and has a great bedside manner. We are so happy with the experience that we always recommend this practice to our family and friends.
Friendly and extremely helpful, the staff at Upper EastSide Orthodontics always makes my child comfortable and her experience as pleasant as possible. This is our second round of braces - so five years of visits - and we wouldn't want to go on this journey with any other team.
The staff is super friendly. They always remember my kids by names and ask about them. I trust them completely to treat my kids. My 2 older ones need teeth straightening and Dr Tanya herself checks them each time and guides them to do the necessary things. The staff also explains in detail what they are doing. The kids get reward points on cards which seems to keep them excited!
The staff and Dr. Vaysman were all very friendly. Dr. Vaysman was very clear about explaining to me my options and the process. I love how transparent they were about the costs of my procedure. The space was clean and everyone wore masks!
My most recent experience with Upper Eastside Orthodontists was great. The staffs are really nice and are great with communication, I was able to pay and sent up my next appointment in a matter of minutes. When my braces were being put on, the orthodontists made sure I was comfortable and at the end they gave me everything I needed to keep my braces and teeth in good condition for my next appointment. I've only been there twice but I would highly recommend.
I was initially nervous about coming in for an appointment during COVID-19 but really appreciated how conscientious the office was about taking precautions. All the while everyone maintaining their comforting professionalism and friendliness -- even behind their masks! I couldn't be happier with my choice of Dr. Vaysman and her team for my Invisalign treatment. Updated on 28 Feb 2021: I'm super pleased with my Invisalign progress. I had been wanting to correct years of tooth crowding but hadn't found the right practice. Now I have! As always, Dr. Vaysman and her staff are caring and expert professionals.
Easy to schedule an appointment, staff was friendly, orthodontist was kind and professional. Highly recommend! Dentist was also kind, and we were able to schedule both appointments at once. Billing process was mostly clear.
The doctor and staff are always so friendly and helpful. They are always so accommodating to me and my family. Me and my 2 sons all go. We love the way they treat us, are flexible rescheduling appointments and are super helpful. Thank you!!!!!
She’s very polite, attentive and knowledgeable! I’ve had a great experience all the time I go there. There is never a long waiting to be call. The staff are friendly and also knowledgeable. Doctor Tanya always pays attention to my concerns and explains the whole process very well.
Attachments can come of in the beginning, it is usually not a big deal. It is not an emergency to have them replaced and is often done on the next visit that the patient is seen.
When you get home to put the new trays in you might find them tighter then usual. Your dentist would probably suggest you wear them for longer time then your usual schedule to make up for the lost time. You should check with your dentist when you get back if the new tray doesn’t seem to fit properly.
It is never a bad idea to wear a tray for few more days as it can only help the teeth move better with it. You should probably wear tray 5 for few more days, if the space is gone after that you can switch to 6 again
You should absolutely go back to tray 1 and wear it for as long as needed until it doesn’t hurt. You then progress in numbers according to the schedule your dentist gave you. You can check with your dentist to see if tray 5 got distorted and needs to be replaced.
Invisaling is a very good appliance for space closure and its always better to have your natural teeth then something glued on them. You need to check with your dentist that placed them how easy it is to remove them and if your tooth underneath is healthy.
