I would like to lift my genetically sad looking face, mainly under eye and cheek area however unsure wether to get a face lift, cheek lift, or brow lift and buccal fat removal. Im 23, quite skinny but my face just looks heavy and doesn’t match the rest of my body

Hi Lunaillusion777, thank you for your question, and for describing what bothers you so honestly. At 23, with what you describe, a facelift, cheek lift or brow lift would very rarely be the right operation: those procedures treat laxity of the deeper supporting layers, which is almost never present at your age. A face that reads heavier or sadder than you feel is usually about bone structure, fat distribution and the shape of the lid-cheek junction, and that needs careful analysis rather than lifting.

I would also urge caution with buccal fat removal in a slim 23-year-old. The midface naturally loses volume through your thirties and forties, and fat removed now cannot easily be put back later.

My advice is an in-person assessment with a facial specialist who will analyse your proportions before naming any procedure. From photographs alone, no one can responsibly tell you which operation you need. Be patient with this decision: at 23 you have time to get it right, and the right first step is analysis, not surgery.
