Visible graft 13 months PO I want the tip to be soft. Could this be done without effecting the rest of my nose? (Photos)

Question

I have been incredibly happy with my results however at around 9 months PO my grafts have started to become very visabke from the front. Especially during smoking. The graft it crooked and pointy. I am happy with the rest of my nose and wouldn’t not want to change any over part of my nose appart from softening the tip. I love my bridge, my profile rotation and nostrils I just want the tip to be soft again. Could this be successfully done without effecting the rest of my nose?

The tip can be revised without effecting the remaining nose. A lot of times just minor shaving of the cartilage bump will restore the soft appearance.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your surgery would include nasal tip deprojection, placement of a mastoid fascia tip graft , among other maneuvers. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
