Answer: Downturned corners and "sad eyes" Many thanks for question with photos. Your situation must be professionally evaluated in person. There are several possible treatments, but lifting and supporting the lower eyelids may improve expression and resolve "sad eye" impression. Because lifting the lower lids will narrow your vertical palpebral aperture (distance between edges of upper and lower eyelids), this change must be simulated before a procedure to be sure you like the result. Yours is as much a reconstructive as aesthetic procedure in my opinion, and may prevent dry eyes, irritation, and other problems that may develop with aging related to your lower eyelid position.

Answer: Downturned eye corners and sad looking eyes It appears that you have several factors involved; eyelid ptosis, low set eyebrows and downturned lateral canthus, eye corner. A proper diagnosis can be made only on the basis of in person evaluation. A combination of ptosis repair, lateral canthopexy and possibly brow lift, should be considered. Good luck.
