I’ve been trying to fix my facial asymmetry, I’ve had my brows microbladed and even two Blepharoplasty treatments which have helped to an extent but I’m still not happy - and I know it’s normal to have some asymmetry etc. BUT this insecurity is crippling to me! I’m very confused with which image of myself to believe, it doesn’t look bad in a mirror, but when using the front camera or TikTok inverted filters it looks horrendous! I need a permanent fix, not Botox Please help
Answer: Facial Sculpting with Fillers | Brow Ptosis / Asymmetry | Browlift | Upper Blepharoplasty | Eyelid Lift Hello and thank you for your question. A formal evaluation would be needed to determine the best treatment. There are both surgical and non-surgical options to correct this, depending on your exact situation. For less significant issues, there are nonsurgical treatments: To give the eyebrows a nice lift, we use injectable fillers to improve the eyebrow, upper eye, forehead and temple. A filler is placed on the bone and in the fat pads of these areas to contour and lift without it looking overdone. We use cannulas to limit pain and swelling. Surgery (browlift and/or upper blepharoplasty) is a great option for more significant improvement- for example if there is more substantial eyebrow drooping or asymmetry. I suggest getting a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert, or an aesthetic facial plastic surgeon like Dr. Donald Groves; we are both located right here in Los Angeles. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Eyebrow position The ideal balance in the periorbital area depends on the ideal relationship between the eyebrow position and the eyelids. Adequate eyebrow repositioning can be done releasing all the ligaments around the eyebrow and the orbital rim, known as a browlift . One option would be to perform an endoscopic, browlift allowing to create balance between the eyebrow depressor muscles and the frontalis muscles, which elevate the eyebrows. The Endowbrow lift would definitely help to achieve symmetry by releasing these muscles and ligaments that hold your eyebrows down. The ideal outcome is to create a balance between the muscles that pull down and pull up and improve the position of the eyebrow. It can be done on only one or both eyebrows depending on the patient's expectations. Hope this helps, and I wish you the best.

Answer: Browlift This can be corrected with a browlift. The extra skin can be taken off the lower side to make it similar to the opposite side. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
