Can swelling persist for more than 2 years after a revision rhinoplasty?

Question

I had 2 rhinoplasty (Feb 2021 and August 2021) and my nose is still swollen 2 years after the second rhinoplasty. In fact, swelling is worse now than it was even 6 weeks after the first surgery. Also bridge of nose feels quite weak and I am concerned it was reduced too much. There are also some callouses at the top of the nose bridge which create deviated appearance (light reflection). What can be done to fix this? I do not want third surgery.

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand from your question it would not possible to make a proper evaluation without photos. If you can provide photos from front of your face, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. If you cannot speak with your surgeon about your concerns, it may be in your best interest to consult with another local reputable rhinoplasty specialist to see what is happening with your nose. If there is no chronic inflammation happening in your nose, and if you have visible irregularities, microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections maybe considered to camouflage them depending on your examination.
